Suitable for: car, bike, boat, garden tools, aluminium siding profiles, aluminium doors, kitchen appliances and toys. First of all, you should get right sized blind rivets (max. 2.4 to 5.0 mm). The length of the blind rivets is also crucial. The rivet should stick out at least as much as the diameter of the rivet is (i.e. workpiece + workpiece + diameter of the rivet equals the blind rivets length). Drill out of centre a hole with the desired diameter in both workpieces. Insert the rivet in the pliers (long side facing outward), attach to the workpiece and compress a couple of times until the mandril severs. Open the pliers and give it a shake until the mandril falls off. If the rivet joint does not succeed, one can remove the connection by drill again.
